报告题目：Eulerian polynomials: interlacing and stability

报告摘要:  It is a long standing open problem that the Eulerian polynomial of type $D$ has only real zeros. This conjecture was proposed by Brenti in 1994, and was proved by Savage and Visontai in 2013. A companion conjecture to Brenti's conjecture was proposed by Dilks, Petersen, and Stembridge in 2009, which states that the affine Eulerian polynomial of type D also has only real zeros. In this talk, we shall review some progress and problems on these two conjectures. This is a joint work with Philip Zhang.

报告人简介：杨立波，南开大学教授，博士生导师。现任南开大学组合数学中心副主任。2004年毕业于南开大学，获博士学位；2011年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才；2015年获国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金项目资助。现为中文《数学进展》编委、中国工业与应用数学学会图论组合及应用专业委员会常务理事、中国运筹学会图论组合分会常务理事、天津市工业与应用数学学会常务理事。主要从事组合数学方面的研究，在对称函数理论和单峰型理论方面取得多项重要成果，在《Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.》、《Intern. Math. Res. Notices》、《Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.》、《J. Combinatorial Theory Series, A》等权威数学期刊发表论文20余篇。
