报告摘要：Mean dimension is a newly emerging topological invariant of dynamical systems, which originates with Misha Gromov around 2000 with a view towards geometric analysis, and which is closely connected to the embedding problem. I will present in my talk a brief introduction to mean dimension and recent progress of the embedding problem. Further, as well as giving the exact value of their mean dimension I shall provide complete classification, under the action of translation, for Bernstein spaces, which were heavily used in signal analysis and which have deep application to the embedding problem.

报告人简介：乔艺晓，女，现任华南师范大学特聘副研究员；2018年分别获得中国科学技术大学和波兰科学院数学研究所 (IMPAN) 基础数学博士学位。其研究方向是拓扑动力系统，尤其是平均维数 (mean dimension) 理论中的一些基本问题以及与其相关的动力学嵌入问题；研究论文发表于 GAFA, ETDS, Fund. Math., Nonlinearity, JDE 等学术期刊，曾担任 Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., ETDS, DCDS-A, Acta Math. Sinica 等学术期刊审稿人。
